Dharma Talks – Sixteen Sundays of Summer

Dharma talks are designed for Transformation, Education, Meditation, and Instruction as well as spending time together helping each other to learn and grow.  Talks are held every Sunday at 12:15 – 1:15 at The Fitness Place, 215 N. McCormick, Prescott.  (see Map).

Prescott Daily Courier – Alternative Therapies for Arthritis

A new exercise program aimed at people with knee problems kicks off on April 6 at Prescott’s Center for Physical Excellence.  Its organizer, Cheryl Van Demark, says it fills a need in the quad-city area.

“It’s taking all the pieces out there in the scientific literature about non-pharmaceutical ways to treat osteoarthritis and packaging it in a user-friendly eight-week program,” Van Demark said. (more…)

Tai Chi and Life

Hello Friends,

May I assist in some small way in opening your heart and mind? Most of us have been trained since we were just still small children to straighten up and fly right. Tension was the lesson and it has been repeated in families, cliques, schools and even churches.

We have been raised in time going tick-tock, tick-tock…..If time is to have a sound I imagine it is must be closer to shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. (more…)
