pushTai Chi is been practiced for centuries as a means of keeping fit and preventing and curing diseases.  Its prime purpose is to promote health in a slow relaxed manner, without jarring and hurting one’s body.

The movements are slow, with great emphasis on posture and balance.  The exercises require concentration, with the mind freed from distractions.  Breathing is natural and in rhythmic harmony with body movements. Master Kravetz practices and teaches a Tai Chi form known as the Wu Style. The study of Wu style Tai Chi is a study of body, mind and spirit.

Orginally developed as a martial art, the movements of Tai Chi became recognized as of being of great benefit to the body.

There is no age limit in Tai Chi.  All can benefit from practicing.

What equipment is needed for Tai Chi?

No sports equipment, uniform, or special facilities are required for practicing Tai Chi.  All that is needed is loose clothing, socks, and a small amount of space.  A willingness to try new things and a forgiving attitude towards oneself are helpful!
